Bettermaker Mastering Equalizer vs Bettermaker 232P
Bettermaker Mastering Equalizer is like a 232P MK II on steroids. You can do much more using MEQ than in 232P MKII.
First of all you got 4 parametric filters. Boundary filders can be used as Shelf or Bell filters (which 232P can’t do).
Also We have extended Passive section. Now Hi Boost goes up to 20 and 28 kHz.
Another upgrade is HPF which now can be resonant and the resonance can be controlled independently.
We have also upgraded circuitry so noise floor is much lower than in 232P MK II, so it makes MEQ much quieter than its predecessor
Parametric filters in MEQ are super sharp. You can hear 1dB steps without guessing
Passive section gives warmth in low end and open air in high spectrum.
